Jon De Celles has been carving for over 20 years after his wife gave him a stone with which he carved a small head. He subsequently enrolled in sculpture classes and went on to earn an Associate degree in Fine Art in 3D Design from the Institute of American Indian Arts. He is a member of the Indigenous Sculptors Society that promotes the art and practice of Native American stone carving and sculpture. Jon and his wife live in the Las Vegas, Nevada area.
