SAKWA TSAVEYO BLUE OGRE KACHINA BY GENE DAWAHOYA (HOPI)
Gene Dawahoya was born on Second Mesa on the Hopi reservation in Northern Arizona. He is a member of the Bear Strap Clan and has been actively carving Katsinas for more than 30 years. He is the brother of noted Katsina doll carver Nuvadi Dawahoya. He is well known for his intricate attention to detail, often carving Katsinum out of one piece of cottonwood.
Measurements: 9" tall x 5" wide 3 1/2" deep
