Edith John is the daughter of the late Woody Herbert who was known for his folk-art Brahma bulls, many of which are in museum collections such as the Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Edith started carving while helping her father. She lives in the remote area of Sweetwater, Arizona with her husband and children.
