SILVER BLOSSOM PENDANT BY CIPPY CRAZYHORSE (COCHITI)
Cippy Crazyhorse was born Cipriano Quintana in 1946 and is the son of silversmiths Terecita and Joe Quintana. He studied anthropology for 2 years at Eastern New Mexico University before serving in the US Navy until 1972. He began silversmithing in 1974. He lives with his family at Cochiti Pueblo where he served as Lt Governor in 1999 and Governor in 2006. Museum collections include Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, Santa Fe, NM; Wheelwright Museum, Santa Fe, NM; Museum of Man, Sand Diego, CA; and the Heard Museum, Phoenix, AZ.
