Richard Tsosie is from the Wide Ruins area of the Navajo Reservation and currently resides in the Phoenix area. He and his brother Boyd, also a well-known jeweler, were taught by Kenneth Begay and first gained national attention when they were featured in a 1979 Arizona Highways Jewelry Collectors edition. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museum across the nation.
