CHINLE VEGETAL DYE RUG BY AN ARTIST ONCE KNOWN (NAVAJO)
Circa 1980's
There can be very little difference between a Chinle design and a Wide Ruins and it sometimes comes down to where the weaver lives as to what designation the rug receives. Traditionally, Chinle designs have wide bands with simple geometric designs such as squash blossoms alternating with thin lines of colors.
